Balls system

Train your logic by playing mahjong!

  1. Basic points for combinations

Each winning combination brings a certain number of points:

  • Pong (triplet of three identical tiles) - 4 points
  • Chow (sequence of three tiles of the same suit) - 2 points
  • Kong (four identical tiles) - 8 points
  • Pair (two identical tiles, end of the hand) - 2 points
  • Closed win (Mahjong solved without taking discarded tiles) - +10 points
  • Open win (Mahjong solved using discarded tiles) - +5 points
  1. Additional bonuses

Players can earn additional points if they collect special combinations or act tactically:

  • First win in the game - +15 points
  • Instant Mahjong (win in 1 move) - +20 points
  • Final move (win with the last possible tile) - +10 points
  • Three Kongs in one game – +30 points
  • Pure suit (all tiles of the same suit) – +25 points
  • Big dragons (three triplets with dragons) – +50 points
  • Four winds (four triplets with winds) – +40 points
  • Seven pairs (a hand of seven pairs) – +35 points
  1. Points for strategic behavior

In addition to combinations, we encourage a strategic approach:

  • Blocking an opponent’s winning move – +5 points
  • Detecting an opponent’s mistake (mistaken Mahjong) – +10 points
  • Minimum number of discards (less than 5 per game) – +7 points
  1. Penalty points

Some actions can lead to a loss of points:

  • Erroneously calling “Mahjong” – -10 points
  • Omitting a possible move – -3 points
  • Frequent discarding of tiles that help the opponent – -5 points for each mistake
  • Long delay of the move (more than 30 seconds without action) – -2 points
  1. Final calculation

After the game is completed, the points are added up and the winner is determined:

  • The player with the most points wins
  • In case of a tie, the one who finished the game faster wins
