Basic rules of Mahjong

Mahjong is an intellectual game for four participants, where the winner is the one who first collects the right combination of tiles.

Start of the game - each player receives 13 tiles (the dealer - 14).

Progress of the game - participants take turns picking up and discarding tiles, trying to collect a winning hand.

Victory - the first to declare “Mahjong” is the one who forms four sets (triplets or sequences) and one pair.

If no player has won by the end of the deck, the game ends in a draw.

Combinations and Scoring

To win, you need to collect combinations correctly:

  • Pong (Triplet) - three identical tiles (for example, three “dragons”).
  • Chow (Sequence) - three consecutive tiles of the same suit (for example, 4-5-6 bamboo).
  • Kong (Four of a Kind) - four identical tiles that give an extra move.
  • Pair - two identical tiles (for example, two “twos” of dots).

After the announcement of “Mahjong”, the points are counted. The more complex the combinations, the higher the points. The winner is the one with the most valuable combination!

Now you are ready to play! Good luck, strategy and attentiveness will lead you to victory and generous rewards! 🀄🎉
